WHAT IS A RE-SET?
A person is a Re-Set if they meet the following criteria:
A Re-Set is an accelerated version of the regular protocol after having been in Maintenance for a minimum of 6 months or more. It includes: Completion of Phase 1 until you reach your goal (no more than 2 weeks) and then an accelerated phase off. This includes a minimum of 2 days on Phase 2 and Phase 3 (maximum of 1 week on each phase). The goal is to complete the reset within 1 month.
A re-set “re-sets” the pancreas and helps to maintain sensitivity to insulin. It is recommended that this is done once a year to prevent those 5-7 pounds of weight gained over the course of a year or after periods following a vacation or even after a long holiday. A Re-Set is typically not appropriate when looking to lose more than 15% of the original weight loss during Phase 1 of the program. That would require a Re-Start.
A client is considered a candidate for a Re-Set if they meet ALL of the following criteria:

A person is a Re-Start if they meet the following criteria:
A Re-Start is defined as having gained more than 15% of the weight you lost while on the protocol after having gone into Maintenance (NOTE: A client is a NEW START if they dropped out of the program before finishing, having never completed the program and reached the Maintenance Phase). A Re-Start would also apply when returning to the program to lose some additional weight (exceeding what you would normally be able to lose over the course of 2 weeks) that was not lost previously while on the program.
